- OIM 3D EBSD Wizard
The 3D Wizard provides step by step direction to set up and perform 3D Data Collection through a single interface that combines functions from an ion-electron beam SEM, the EDAX EBSD detector, and Orientation Imaging Microscopy (OIM™) software. The 3D Wizard guides the user through the set up of the field of interest, the selection of milling templates, and the entry of critical parameters as required.
- OIM 3D EBSD Visualization Software
The OIM™ 3D Visualization software was created by EDAX specifically for EBSD and is used to create graphical visualizations of serially collected data sets that can be rendered into a 3D solid and then displayed using commonly used OIM™ map types. Once created, the solid can be sliced from six directions, free rotated, and zoomed/panned for thorough inspection of the microstructure. Finally, still images and movies can be created of the analyses for presentations. 3D Visualization software is the preferred tool for analysis of 3D EBSD data.
